Prisoner’s Assistance Mission (PAM)’s study tour ( 14th Jan-18th Jan)
Prisoner’s Assistance Mission (PAM) had organized five days study tour to Buddha circuit of Terai region. Children visited and observed different historical/religious places.
Lumbini :The birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha and one of the world heritage site.
Maternal temple of Mayadevi : The birthplace of Queen Mayadevi, mother of Siddhartha Gautam situated in Devdaha, Bhawanipur, Rupandehi.
Siddha Baba Temple: This temple is situated in the midpoint of Butwal and Palpa.

Ostrich Farm of Butwal: Children observed different types of ostrich and ostrich’s eggs.
Shashwat Dham: It is also known as CG Temple and is situated in Devchuli (Nawalpur) of Nawalparasi district. It was constructed by Chaudhary Foundation.
107 years old Pakadi tree: Children observed and did cleanliness like sweeping, collecting litters and keeping in dustbin around the premises.
Children enjoyed by doing boating in the nearest pond of Lumbini.
They had also visited Devghat, Tilaurakot,different monasteries and ponds.
During the tour all the children help in the time of cooking, cleaning and washing utensils as per they can. They also did interaction with local people of the place where they stayed.
